Barry’s Bay Water Treatment Plant and Water Tower Rehabilitation

The project will rehabilitate a water tower and the Barry’s Bay Water Treatment Plant in Madawaska Valley, Ontario. The work includes the installation of an access ladder and fall protection devices, replacement of valves, piping, and instruments, and a comprehensive inspection of the structure and lining of the water tower. The roof of the water treatment plant will also be replaced. The project will fund improvements to reservoirs, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the safety and durability of the water storage infrastructure. The project will also fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure.
