Description | NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) has commissioned an additional 106 MW solar power capacity at its 300 MW Barsingsar Solar Power Project in Rajasthan, increasing the total commissioned capacity to 158.83 MW. The project uses indigenously manufactured high-efficiency bifacial solar PV modules and is implemented under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The power generated will be supplied to the State of Rajasthan, supporting the state's renewable energy portfolio and India's clean energy goals. NLCIL plans to commission the remaining capacity by December 2025 to achieve the full 300 MW capacity within schedule. |
