It is expected to be the largest rail facility in the U.S., featuring a state-of-the-art master-planned intermodal railway facility with a 140-acre solar farm, rooftop solar warehouses, and solar rail yard canopies. The project aims to reduce truck and freeway congestion by eliminating nearly 800,000 truck trips per year and is expected to create roughly 20,000 new jobs. Construction is expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027. |
