The Technical Cooperation includes the following activities: i) hire experts to design a domestic violence prevention program adequate to the legal and institutional situation of Nicaragua; ii) to contract an expert to carry out an analysis on the participation mechanism of the citizens in the preparation and implementation of the loan operation; iii) to organize a workshop to raise awareness about the importance of violence prevention, to establish consensus about the policies in this area, and to discuss further line of actions among the public sector, civil society and other concerned parties; iv) to carry out a baseline study for the development effectiveness of the loan operation, including the selection of indicators to be followed, definition of methodology of measurement, follow-up on indicators, and final analysis.
