Bastar Canopy Walk and Glass Bridge Adventure Tourism Projects

Plans are underway to develop Bastar as a world-class eco-tourism destination with adventure tourism projects including a canopy walk and a glass bridge. The canopy walks have been established in many Bastar villages as elevated pedestrian walkways within forest canopies to promote ecotourism. The site for the glass bridge is being sought and a detailed project report will be finalized soon. Key destinations like Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Waterfalls and Kanger Valley National Park are also being developed with enhanced infrastructure and visitor facilities.
