Information Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has come up with Bathinda Sangrur Pipeline with a ticket size of 397 INR Crores. This project in Bulk Material Transportation Pipelines sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Scope- Laying of 10 inch dia Pipeline [approx. Length 90 Kms] from Bathinda to Sangrur- BSPL will start from Bathinda depot in Bathinda, Punjab and terminate at Sangrur depot in Sangrur, Punjab. This 90 Km pipeline will pass thru Bathinda, Mansa, Barnala and Sangrur districts in Punjab. This pipeline will have a main dispatch Station at Bathinda along with 2 No. SV/CP Station with associated facilities thruput capacity of 1.46 MMTPA. Objective- HPCL is operating Ramanmandi-Bathinda pipeline and Ramanmandi-Bahadurgarh pipeline from HMEL's Guru Gobind Singh Refinery in Ramanmandi for evacuating white oil products [MS/HSD/SKO]. In order to further distribute finished petroleum products from Bathinda to markets associated with Sangrur and Jalandhar depots, Bathinda-Sangrur Pipeline [BSPL] Project has been approved by HPCL board. Salient Features - 90 Km long 10 inch diameter. Bathinda Sangrur Pipeline with enroute SV/CP station facilities. Pipeline Pumping Facilities at existing Bathinda Receiving Station including mainline pumps and pigging facilities. Pipeline Receiving facilities at Sangrur including Control Room & MCC Room. Storage augmentation at Sangrur with additional tankage of 17600 KL & allied facilities. Construction of an additional 6 Bay new TT gantry adjacent to existing 8 Bay gantry, after dismantling the existing TT unloading gantry and revamping of existing TT Gantry. Additional TT parking area for 30 Trucks. Augmentation of Fire Fighting Facilities Project Cost and Completion Date- Approved Project Cost is 367 Cr. and anticipated completion date is 01.05.2024. The Bathinda Sangrur pipeline project has been approved by Board vide meeting no. 653 dated 02.11.2021 at an approved cost of Rs 367 crore.
