Description	The construction of the 487.6 km Bayanwula-Xinqiu Railway linking Fuxin City in Liaoning Province and Bayanwula District in Inner Mongolia commenced in October 2007. The agreement was granted to a local private company, Liaoning Chuncheng Industrial and Trade (Group) Ltd. through direct negotiation. The company has a 26% stake in the project. The total investment was RMB 5860 million (US$ 770.04 million). The construction period was 36 months. The railway was costructed to access the coal resources in Inner Mongolia and it was expected to deliver 12 million tons of coal per year with 3-5 years after completion. The exact financial closing date cannot be identified. Construction commencement date is used instead.
