Description
Description | In two of the last three years, wastewater flows to the Bayfield Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) have exceeded the Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) rated capacity. To reduce flows to the WWTP, the municipality is proposing an investigation into infiltration and inflow into the system. To date, 10% of the sewer system has been investigated, with the preliminary findings establishing that approximately 59% of existing flow is groundwater infiltration and inflow. The proposed study will examine the remaining 90% of the sewer system. |
