Description | The Avera Cos. has started construction on Baywood Logistics, a 374,297-square-foot distribution warehouse located at 8920 Red Bluff Road in Pasadena near the Port of Houston. The warehouse features a 36-foot clear height, 235-foot truck court, 62 dock-high doors, 60-foot speed bays, an ESFR sprinkler system, 3,000 amps of power, 53 trailer and 224 car parking spaces, and a 4,197-square-foot build-to-suit office. The project was downsized from an initial plan of over 401,000 square feet for efficiency. The site includes two detention ponds totaling 9.5 acres. Construction is being carried out by Avera's in-house construction company with design by Houston-based Method Architecture. Expected delivery is next summer. |
