Description | Bharat Dynamics Limited has launched a new naval systems manufacturing project in Andhra Pradesh focused on underwater defence technologies. The facility will manufacture advanced underwater weapon systems, torpedoes, mines, and associated naval systems for the Indian Navy. Spread across nearly 160 acres, it includes advanced assembly infrastructure, integration buildings, explosive handling and storage facilities, testing systems, and acoustic tank infrastructure. The project aims to strengthen India's indigenous underwater warfare and naval defence capabilities and is expected to be completed over the next four years. |
