The project European Week of Sport aims are to promote sport and physical activity across Lithuania, generate new activities and also build on already existing successful initiatives. Project actions were chosen deliberately on the basis of more than 26 years working experience in managing sport projects, programs and events and 6 year of coordinating European week of sport. 1.The project idea is purposefully oriented to accessibility: 1.1 Benefits of physical activity to citizens, sports organizations, federations and governments through regional and national events and the use of the BEACTIVE brand. 1.2. Strengthen the community and involve as many sports organizations, non-governmental organizations, sports federations and media as possible, in order to achieve maximum awareness and involvement of the people. 1.3. Establish and continue the tradition of celebrating EWoS in the last week of September, giving the impute to be active throughout the year and further developing the sports activities that have begun. Most events and projects will take place as EWoS international date – the 23th-30th of September but some projects will take place earlier in September, starting at 1st of September. Also will be organized initiative that lasts all project duration. Projects and events described in work package (activities) will be the main events implemented in national level as much as possible wider geographically including as much as possible small towns and villages in regions of Lithuania. Project national and regional main programs are orientated to different target groups because of growing the EWoS community every year: 1. Families (parents and kids) 2. Elderly man and women 3. Sport clubs, NGO, Umbrella's sport organizations 4. Government, municipalities, districts, cities and towns
