"The EWOS 2022 and 2023 editions will continue to promote physical activity and the practice of sport as a way for individual wellbeing but also as a tool to counter many challenges the societies have to face: inclusion, equal opportunities, participation, but also recover after COVID and, nowadays, promote dialogue and understanding. The structure of the EWoS editions will be in line with the indications, as IT will promote a kick off event, that will be the opportunity to launch the initiative and show the cooperation with other national administrations, as well as the commitment of the sport movement, the organization of Flagship events on the due dates, that will be organized in significant sport facilities (Foro Italico in Rome, or similar places in other parts of Italy), the organizations of the #BeActive night that will see a growing participation at the grass root level, other invents linked to Focus Themes, a communication campaign that will use different communication tools to reach the widest public, promoting and spreading the information on the EWoS activities, using the branding kit prepared at EU level. Furthermore, the 2022 edition will have a specific focus on youth, being 2022 the European Year of Youth. One of the aims of the NCB is to increase the commitment of stakeholders from different fields (i.e. the employers' organizations and the municipalities) in order to promote long lasting impact (in the case, increasing the number of public and private organizations promoting sport at work or sport in the public areas). Innovative communication means will be used in order to reach young people and make them be leading actors in the organization of events and of communication activities. As for the past two editions, the NCB will be implement all the activities with the support and in cooperation with Sport e salute, the in-house structure of the Department of Sport of the Presidency of the Council of ministers (the NCB).
