The project involves the development of affordable homeownership on a 3.91-acre parcel in the Southside project area in the City of Durham, North Carolina, USA.The project site spans around 125 acres and is roughly delineated by Lakewood Avenue to the north, the western boundary being the American Tobacco Trail, Umstead Street to the south, and Fayetteville Street to the east. This site was previously designated as the Beamon Street area for affordable homeownership initiatives. The developer will assume responsibility for all tasks related to the site, encompassing environmental compliance and clearance, zoning, site design and approvals, obtaining permits, site groundwork, infrastructure enhancements, and the design and construction of the planned residential units. This includes the removal of any surplus soil from the site.
