The plant commenced production in December 2025 and has loaded its first export shipment. The facility has a capacity of 1.1 million tonnes per year and is expected to nearly double the United States' ammonia export volume. However, the production of lower-carbon (blue) ammonia is delayed until after 2026 due to construction setbacks at a third-party feedstock supplier. |
