Beetaloo Basin Gas Development and LNG Export Joint Venture

Formentera Partners and Inpex have established a joint venture to accelerate natural gas resource development in Australia's onshore Beetaloo Basin. The project aims to supply domestic natural gas to Australia and export LNG to Asia using advanced shale technologies. Inpex will acquire net acres from Formentera and may purchase additional acreage. Daly Waters Energy will operate the JV applying advanced US shale technologies. The project also includes plans to expand LNG export capacity, including a potential third LNG train at the Ichthys LNG facility in Darwin.
