Meet at the invitation of the Nottuln municipality, its town twinning committee and numerous associations, schools and other groups on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the city partnership with the Polish city of Chodzież, numerous citizens of both came together Municipalities as well as our French partner municipality Saint-Amand-Montrond for a four-day trinational citizens' meeting in Nottuln. The aim of the encounter project is to honor the lively town twinning and to ensure continued successful cooperation sustainably secured in the spirit of the EU. In particular, the younger citizens should understand the values and goals of the Union to be further improved and a signal to be sent against the growing EU skepticism. Through moderated discussions and one of Students of the Nottuln Gymnasium prepared and moderated a public panel discussion with EU parliamentarians and the Mayors will be made aware of the history, values and goals of the EU. In the sub-project “Accessible Sister city partnership ”, around 10 people with handicaps from Chodzież and Nottuln will have joint requirements for one Define successful active and sustainable participation in the town twinning. With the sub-project “Graffiti art with motifs from Town twinning in the public space of the municipality of Nottuln “will bring together girls and boys from Nottuln and Chodzież creating an art product that is intended to attract young people to the town twinning. All groupings will face the difficulty when maintaining contacts during the Covid 19 pandemic, discuss and use the paths found for future cooperation. An important goal is to revive friendships after a long time in which personal encounters were not possible.
