In March 2005, a local private company Chongqing Kangda Environmental Protection Co. Ltd. signed a 30 year agreement to build and operate a sewerage treatment plant in Caiyu Town, Daxing District, Beijing Municipality. The plant capacity was 10,000 cubic meters per day.

The construction of the plant commenced in June 2005 and was completed at the end of 2006. |
