Description | Beijing Xinao Jingchang Gas Company Limited is a sino-foreign joint venture company. It was previously registered in the People's Republic of China (PRC) as part of a PRC joint venture under the name Xinao Group Company Limited ("XGCL"). In January 2001, Xinao Changping Investment Limited ("Changping BVI"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinao Gas Holdings Limited, acquired an 80% interest in Beijing Xinao Jingchang Gas Company for RMB9.9m (roughly US$ 1.2 million) from XGCL. Changping BVI will makes its contribution in cash. The remaining 20% is held by the state-owned Beijing City Changping Urban Economic Development Corporation who will contribute assets. The investment involves 16km of existing pipelines and more than 40 km of planned pipelines. As of December 2002, 46 km had been constructed. |
