Description | In February 2006, two joint ventures, Ningbao Yining Port Operation Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Yongli Port Operation Co., Ltd. were formed between ITALIA MARITTIMA S.p.a. and Ningbo Port Group to build and operate the berth #5 and #6 respectively, as the forth phase of Beilun Terminal development program. ITALIA MARITTIMA S.p.a. was selected by Ningbo Group through a competitive negotiation process. The projects were located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The two 50:50 joint ventures would operate the berths for 50 years. Each join venture has a registration capital of US$ 50 million. The total investment for each berth was US$ 99 million. |
