Description | This project comprises the construction of 400MW wind power capacity in Beitan, Gaotai county, Zhangye city, Gansu province, China. The wind farm covers an area of 120 acres and construction works include the installation of 64 wind turbines, a new 110kV booster station, as well as a supporting energy storage facility with 80MW power and capacity of 160 MWh, and 110kV transmission line of 29 km. The sponsor is Electric Wind Power and the total amount of the investment is $327.4m (2.164 billion Yuan).
