Modernization of data logging system to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. Converting the current data logging system to a SCADA system would provide better data storage and data recall capabilities. Currently, the data logging system can only store up to three months of data. A SCADA system would also allow an operator to remotely control critical systems which the current data logging system is not capable of. Replacing the water system’s filtering material as it is nearing the end of its life expectancy. The green sand filter process is critical to removing the high levels of iron present in the source water. Replacement of the current chlorine boards, as they are aging and nearing life expectancy, to a more modern system that will lead to fewer instances of low chlorine events.
