The development objective of the COVID-19 Project for Belize is to prevent, detect and respond to the threat posed by COVID-19 and strengthen national systems for public health preparedness. The project comprises of two components. The first component, COVID-19 Response will support the Belize COVID-19 response through two sub-components as follows: (i) vaccine purchase; and (ii) vaccine deployment. The second component, project management and monitoring will finance the required project management activities and administrative and human resources to manage the Project.
