Belle-Baie - Lift Stations Rehabilitation (Beresford)

The project involves work on two lift stations (station #5 and #2) in Beresford. Both lift stations are located in flood zones and are becoming increasingly vulnerable to sea level rise and extreme weather events. Lift station #5: 1) upgrades to existing sanitary sewer lines and modifications to lift station #5 currently on rue des Chalets (new purpose will be to catch sewerage from the few houses that are lower that the new lift station #5 on rue Principale), and 2) construction of a new lift station #5, overflow outfall, and connection to existing forcemain on rue Principale. Lift station #2: relocate existing lift station on rue Bryar to a new location across the street which will be more resilient to flooding due to climate change.
