It aims to improve safety and accessibility to the transit center for both pedestrians and buses. The raised intersections will provide a seamless street crossing for people walking and rolling between the East Link light rail station and the Bellevue Transit Center. They are located along the future Grand Connection , a signature, pedestrian-focused corridor through the heart of downtown Bellevue. Intersection closures Full intersection closures are needed to complete the raised intersections. Bellevue Transit Center bus stop locations will be temporarily relocated for some of the closures — see below for dates and times. Click to enlarge. 108th Avenue NE and NE 6th Street The planned closure dates for this intersection are: 5 a.m. Thursday, August 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, August 14 Work will be continuous, 24 hours a day 10 p.m. Friday, September 8 to 5 a.m. Monday, September 11 Work will be continuous, 24 hours a day The Bellevue Transit Center will be closed during both of these closures and temporary bus stops will be setup on 106th Ave NE at NE 6th St. 110th Avenue NE and NE 6th Street Click to enlarge. The planned closure dates for this intersection are: 7 a.m. Monday, August 14 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 25 Work will be 7 a.m.-6 p.m. 7 p.m. Friday, August 25 to 5 a.m. Monday, August 28 Work will be continuous, 24 hours a day 5 a.m. Monday, August 28 to Wednesday, August 30 — NE 6th St will be closed east of 110th Avenue NE. Detour via 112th Avenue NE and NE 8th and NE 4th streets. Access to the Bravern garage off of NE 6th Street will be maintained The Bellevue Transit Center will be closed 7 p.m. Friday August 25 to 5 a.m. Monday August 28th.  Temporary bus stops will be setup on 106th Ave NE at NE 6th St. Please note that construction schedules are subject to change and often do.
