Description | The Belmont Park Village retail village is part of a $2 billion redevelopment of 43 acres of Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, aimed at transforming the site into a shopping, entertainment, and hospitality destination. The project includes a 340,000 square feet retail space with 155 mostly European boutiques and seven restaurants, a 250-room hotel planned for future construction, the UBS Arena, and the Elmont-UBS Arena LIRR Station. Construction of the retail village was completed in two phases about 18 months ago, with about 25% tenancy currently occupied. The redevelopment also includes modernization of thoroughbred racing facilities at Belmont Park. |
