Bengaluru Aerospace Park

planned

A proposed aerospace park near Bengaluru airport involving land acquisition of 1,777 acres of farmland in Devanahalli taluk, near Kempegowda International Airport. The project faced land acquisition issues and protests from farmers, leading to the Karnataka government withdrawing the land acquisition process. The government is seeking a solution to the land acquisition issue and has asked farmers to voluntarily give their land. Andhra Pradesh has pitched to aerospace industries to shift the project to their state, offering attractive policies and ready-to-use land.
