Description
Description | The Karnataka Cabinet has approved the construction of a short twin-tunnel road and an elevated corridor between the Hebbal flyover and Mekhri Circle to manage local vehicular traffic on the congested section providing connectivity to Bengaluru airport. The project includes an underpass in the middle of Bellary Road at Mekhri Circle, an underground route in the Gandhi Krishi Vigyan Kendra (GKVK) campus, and construction of a road on either side of Hebbal Lake. The project aims to ease congestion where road widening is not possible and will utilize government land to limit land acquisition costs. |
