The project aims to meet rising traffic demand in Bengaluru metropolitan region by expanding the mass rapid transit network, supporting regional economic development, improving urban environment, and reducing vehicular pollution by easing congestion. It also promotes transit-oriented development through better multimodal integration including feeder bus services, shared mobility options, and double-decker viaduct structures. |
