Berezniki Municipal Utility complex (electricity, water, heating)

NOVOGOR-Prikamye entered into 30 year lease contract for the water utility (and also electricity and heat municipal utilities) in the city of Berezniki located in the Perm province of Russian Federation on February, 2005. NOVOGOR-Prikamye also operated water utities in the city of Perm and city of Krasnokamsk. The city government of Berezniki granted the private Russian company NOVOGOR-Prikamye a lease contract and an investment contract for the water utility. Berezniki, the second biggest city in the Perm province after the city of Perm, was an industrialized town situated on the banks of the Kama River 176 kms to the north of Perm with 250 thousand of population. There was no public information on investment commitments under this contract. The operator NOVOGOR-Prikamye was a specialized public utility company of Interros. It became a subsidiary of OJSC Russian Utility Systems (RKS) on January 17, 2007, that in turn was a part of Integrated Energy Systems (IES Holding).
