Berlinale Pro* is a dynamic cluster of activities designed to meet the diverse needs of the global film industry and its stakeholders. It encompasses a range of highly integrated initiatives, including key components of one of the world's major film markets: the European Film Market (EFM). Additionally, it features a globally recognized project and talent development initiative, Berlinale Talents (BT); a highly successful co-production market, the Berlinale Co-Production Market (BCPM); and the Berlinale World Cinema Fund (WCF), a value-driven film fund that offers year-round support for production, distribution, and strategic development. Berlinale Pro keeps pace with the industry's shifts, integrating into its curation various sessions and events that create the conditions for rapid adoption of new technologies and business models. Collectively strengthened under the MEDIA 360° funding scheme, Berlinale Pro* fosters creative talent at every stage, from discovery and training to mentorship and content development. It supports the building of crews and communities, facilitates the development and refinement of (co-)production, financing and distribution strategies. Key activities include connecting with viable partners, packaging projects, enhancing market access, exploring new technologies, and promoting public debate, presentation, and visibility of film projects.
