Uzbekistan's President signed a decree to establish the Besqala Mining Valley, a special zone for cryptocurrency mining in Karakalpakstan. The project aims to develop mining based on green energy and attract investment, allowing miners to use the general power grid and alternative sources including hydrogen stations. Miners can sell cryptocurrency on local and foreign exchanges, with income tax exemptions until 2035 and a monthly fee of 1% of revenue to the zone's administration.
