"The BEST - BEautiful, Sustainable, Together project intends to realise a twinning meeting in Parma territory, between small and medium-sized towns of the Province of Parma, the city of Banská Štiavnica, in Slovakia, and the city of Ravne Na Koroskem, in Slovenia, aimed at spreading the concepts of the New European Bauhaus (beautiful, sustainable, together) in activities directly involving local public authorities and citizens, with special attention to the involvement of young people. The target groups will be: local public officials and administrators, representatives of NGOs active in the fields of the project. Objectives of the project - increase the knowledge of the NEB at local and European level - exchange good practices for sustainable as well as beautiful and inclusive communities - promote international activities also in small-scale realities - raise awareness of tools and methods for working together locally and at European level During the meeting, the partners will realize the following activities: Activity 1) exchange of good practices about the general theme: European Green Deal and NEB - beautiful and sustainable European local communities Activity 2 – ""Working together in Europe"", a workshop to acquire tools and methodologies aimed at identifying projects on issues related to beautiful and sustainable communities. Activity 3 – visits to the territory, to discover cultural and natural heritage in the province of Parma The project will have as results: - greater awareness of the NEB at the local and Eu level; - increased awareness of tools and methods for working together, locally and at Eu level; - An increased friendship between Eu towns and citizens; - An increased attention to equal opportunities for all and to the use of inclusive language: - An increased sense of belonging to the EU and awareness about the added value of the EU; The project will involve 50 direct participants and 200 indirect participants."
