"""Better Future Festival,"" is designed to inspire and engage European citizens in shaping a more inclusive, sustainable, and democratic Europe. The central objective of this project is to organise five dynamic festivals across Europe, each addressing vital themes that lie at the heart of EU priorities. These themes encompass solidarity, sustainable urbanization, demographic challenges, inclusive growth and democratic participation and ways of participation. Each festival will be a vibrant culmination of cultural diversity, including captivating live performances, immersive participation workshops, engaging youth debates with the draft of youth declarations and insightful expert discussions. A total of 157 direct participants in the events will be international, 82 women (52.2%) and 75 men (47.8%), and there will be, at the very least, 73 local participants, encompassing all five events. In total, 230 direct participants from four different European countries (Italy, Poland, Romania, and Spain) that will benefit from the project’s activities. The project will produce 3 main deliverables: -D1: Cultural Heritage Festival, will consist of a compilation of the 5 promotional videos produced to highlight the local cultural heritage exposed and live as a result of the festivals implemented. -D2: Compilation of best practices for municipalities. -D3: Youth Declaration of “A Better Future"", will synthesise the core recommendations generated in each youth debate, towards an increased participation in political processes at the local, regional, national and EU level. In summary, this project aspires to a) O1: inspire citizens from all ages to actively build a Europe of solidarity by participating in the vision of the future they want; b) O2: foster collaboration&exchange of best practices between municipalities; &, c) O3: provide specifically young people with a platform to engage, debate&participate into EU policy-decision making."
