Description | “Between Land and Sea” departs from a deep engagement in and between three key port cities and their cultural institutions: Bremen (Germany), Palermo (Italy), and Tunis (Tunisia). Lying on an almost perfect vertical axis, the three cities connect on a map the North of Europe, the Southern border of the EU, and the Northern end of Africa. The project focuses on the establishment of long-term collaborations between the three port cities of Palermo, Tunis and Bremen and their cultural actors and civil society, through the production of eight original transnational artworks that will be showcased in three original festivals in Bremen, Palermo, and Tunis. |
