Description
Description | The Project “Beyond Recognition: Enhancing Credential Evaluation Impact through Stakeholder Outreach”(REACH) aims to strengthen ENIC-NARIC offices' capacity to support labour market integration of third-country nationals through transparent, accessible, and effective recognition procedures and information provision. Through systematic analysis of research into credential evaluation services across Europe and beyond, the project examines how these services can optimally support both credential holders in demonstrating their qualifications and employers in understanding foreign credentials. The project brings together experienced ENIC-NARIC offices, VET recognition information centres, and research organizations in a strategic partnership combining research expertise on measuring recognition effectiveness with practical experience in credential evaluation services. Key activities include: • systematic mapping of existing research approaches and findings • collaborative peer learning through face-to-face meetings and expert sessions • development of practical implementation guidance, and • creation of a comprehensive best practices handbook incorporating research insights and stakeholder perspectives. By facilitating structured knowledge exchange between recognition authorities and enabling comparative analysis of impact measurement approaches, REACH supports the implementation of key EU and EHEA commitments in recognition, particularly regarding transparent and fair recognition of third-country qualifications. The project's outputs will enhance ENIC-NARIC offices' capacity to demonstrate service value while providing a stronger evidence base for continued improvement of recognition practices across the Networks. This contributes to enhanced professional mobility and labour market integration as envisioned in the 2023 Council Recommendation on the recognition of qualifications of third-country nationals. |
