Description | The BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) Scheme is a Central Sector initiative by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) aimed at building investment-ready, world-class industrial parks across India to accelerate manufacturing growth and attract large-scale investments. The scheme plans to develop 100 industrial parks between 2026-27 and 2031-32 with a total financial outlay of nearly ₹33,660 crore. The parks will feature plug-and-play infrastructure including underground utility systems, reliable power and water supply, worker housing, testing laboratories, renewable energy infrastructure, warehousing facilities, digital governance platforms, and common effluent treatment systems. Implementation will be carried out through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) with the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) as the Project Management Agency. |
