Description | The project involves the construction of a splash pad and playground improvements at Bicentennial Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The improvements include installing the splash pad, replacing swings and other playground equipment, restroom renovations, enlarging a detention basin, new concrete curbs and sidewalks, seeding a bio-retention basin, installing new fencing and shade sails, and restoring the site. Solar panels are planned to power the splash pad, restrooms, pavilion, and park lighting. The splash pad will have a water recirculation system to treat and reuse water, aligning with the city's sustainability goals. |
