Description
Description | Biennale Cinema includes Venice International Film Festival and its Industry side, Venice Production Bridge (VPB), Biennale College Cinema (BCC) and its 3 programs: Biennale College Cinema, Biennale College Cinema Immersive and the new Biennale College Blend. BIENNALE CINEMA 360–VPB and COLLEGE project (2.VPB_BCC_360) will concentrate on the VPB and the BCC programs. The essence and specificity of the VPB is to focus on production and to make available a wide range of services, projects and networking events to producers, offering them the complete chain of production. All those activities are conceived in order to increase B2B exchanges including co-productions, distribution and sales agents among EU and International professionnals. VPB is now reaching more than 3000 professionals. The 3 Biennale Colleges support emerging talent across diverse audiovisual disciplines. These programs guide participants from project development to festival premiere, fostering creativity, sustainability and industry exposure. Cinema and Immersive Colleges annually support 12 feature-length micro-budget films and 12 immersive projects through workshops and online sessions culminating in presentations at the Venice Gap Financing Market. Biennale awards production grants (€200K for 4 films and €75k for 1 immersive project) with completed works premiering at the Venice International Film Festival. College Blend focuses on cross-media works supporting 6 artists in creating innovative projects centred on audiovisual expression, integrating expert guidance, AI tools and interdisciplinary storytelling. With initiatives like Green Storytelling, AI Integration and Career Sustainability launching in 2025, the Colleges champion underrepresented voices and prepare the next generation of storytellers to shape the future of the audiovisual industry. |
