Big Carlos Pass Bridge Replacement Project

Construction of a new fixed span bridge over Big Carlos Pass, replacing the existing moveable bridge. The new bridge will provide a vertical navigation clearance of 60 feet and include one travel lane in each direction, bicycle lanes, a six-foot-wide sidewalk on the north side, and a 10-foot-wide shared use path on the south side. The project also includes a parking area with access to Lovers Key State Park and relocation of existing utilities infrastructure.
