Big Sky Carbon Hub Processing Facility

U.S. Energy Corp. has reached a Final Investment Decision to construct the Big Sky Carbon Hub processing facility in Montana. The facility is designed for approximately 8.0 MMcf/d inlet capacity, targeting about 12 million cubic feet of annual helium production and 125,000 metric tons of refined CO₂ per year at initial operations. The project includes installation of gathering pipelines, commissioning, and aims for commercial operations by Q1 2027. The project benefits from an estimated $130 million in Section 45Q federal tax credits and involves an EPC agreement with CANUSA EPC under a fixed-scope contract.
