Biidaasige Park

The project will provide recreational and cultural upgrades to Biidaasige Park located within Toronto’s Port Lands. The scope involves building a variety of natural and accessible features in Biidaasige Park, covering 27 acres, that will include natural playgrounds, pathways and cycling routes, heritage features, seating/rest areas, picnic areas, washrooms, event and community spaces, and landscaping features. The project will improve access to cultural and recreational infrastructure, and increase the quality of community spaces for families, nature enthusiasts and visitors. The project will also support environmental quality by improving the capacity and quality of pathways and active transportation infrastructure, and help restore what was once one of the largest wetlands on Lake Ontario.
