Description | The Bozeman City Commissioners approved the Memorandum of Understanding with Gallatin Valley Land Trust to create the Bikefill Community Bike Park. The project will be developed on 66 acres of vacant land between Snowfill Recreation Area and the old city landfill, featuring beginner, intermediate, and advanced mountain bike trails for all ages and abilities. Improvements to McIlhattan Road and a new parking lot will provide better access to the trails. The project is expected to cost $4.5 million, with $3.8 million already secured from lead donors and the City of Bozeman. Community input will be gathered in the fall, and construction is projected to begin next spring. |
