Bilgin Enerji Yatirim Holding A.S was planning the development of the 50MW Zeytineli wind farm, Alacati-Cesme, Izmir Province. The project was to consist of 20 turbines of 2.5MW. The annual output was estimated at 165 GWh. Capacity factor was estimated at 38% (high). The equipment supply contract was awarded to Nordex in January 2012, which was expecting to supply its N90 and N100 Gamma Generation turbines (20x). Commissioning was expected for 2012. Under Turkish Renewable Eneryg Law, wind farms receive 7.3 $ cents per kWh, for 10 years. The financial partners for Bilgin Enerji were BayernLB and Euler Hermes Kreditversieherung. Financial closure was reported in January 2012. Total project cost was unavailable, but estimated at US$1.8 million/MW based on 2011 ECA average price per MW, or US$90 million.
