Description | In December 2014, a local private company Anhui Guozhen Environmental Protection Science & Technology Co. Ltd. signed an agreement with the Bin County Government to operate the phase 1 of the local wastewater treatment plant and build and operate phase 2 of the same. The treatment capacity of each phase was 10,000 tons per day. The total investment for phase 2 was RMB 20 million (US$ 3.26 million). How much Guozhen paid for the concession of Phase 1 was not reported. In March 2015, Guozhen's local subsidiary, Bin County Guozhen Water Treatment Company Limited was established and through which Guozhen formally take over the Bin County Wastewater Treatment Plant. According to an official document in July 2015, construction of the phase 2 of the plant had commenced. |
