Description | The project involves the construction and operation of one solar plant with capacity of 50 MW and one wind farm with the same capacity. The project will have 2 phases. In the first phase, a 50-MW solar plant will be built on 60 hectares on the western slope of Phuong Mai mountain in the Nhon Hoi economic zone. The second phase will see a 50-MW wind-power plant constructed on Nui Ba mountain slope in Phu Cat district. Japan's Fujiwara is sponsoring the project. The project will supply electricity for Nhon Hoi EZ and the national electricity grid. Total investment in the project is $63.7 million. Construction was launched on 5th of April 2018.
