The system will be implemented on a 9,105-square-foot rooftop area with an installation cost of around Tk89 lakh and additional Tk87 lakh for maintenance and replacement over 20 years. It is expected to generate about 2.85 million kWh of electricity over 20 years, with DESCO consuming 90% and BIDA receiving 10%. The project aligns with government renewable energy targets and aims to serve as a model for other government institutions. |
