Description | In Jul 2011, a local private company Jiangsu Tianying Group was granted a concession agreement to build and operate a solid waste power plant in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. Construction of the first phase commenced in May 2013. The total investment on the first phase was US$ 61.33 million (RMB 380 million) and by Feb 2014, US$ 41.96 million (RMB 260 million) had been incurred. It was expected that the plant could be completed by Aug 2014. The first phase of the plant could operate 800 tons of household solid waste per day and the power generation capacity was 15MW. Tianying Group seemed to have 100% share of the project. |
