Erasmus Mundus Joint Master study program Bioenergy Systems having a two-year duration, is planned to be developed with the participation: Vytautas Magnus University, University of Udine, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The purpose of the educational program will be to train specialists capable of designing and building up processes and devices of energy in general and bioenergy in particular, to rationally use energy resources, analyse environmental pollution and determine the possibilities of its reduction. The program will cover the subjects that will include modern methods of designing and operating the bioenergy facilities, as well as the methods of the effective energy consumption in the technological processes in industrial enterprises, municipal economy and agricultural. The educational program will provide students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, competences and skills about the rational waste management, as well as economic and legal knowledge necessary to understand the conditions of engineering activities, adapted to the Bioenergy technologies. The implementation of the proposed educational program will provide the future graduates with an opportunity to expand their scientific prospects, based on the experience gained in various European countries, and incentive for their multicultural development. The future graduates of the proposed educational program will help develop the production and use of the renewable energy, as well as contribute to the search and conservation of energy resources. The full study cycle will amount to 120 ECTS, will involve the defence of a Master’s thesis and will ensure the achievement of a Master’s degree.
