Biogas production line at cogeneration plant in Goianésia

The project involves the implement a biogas production line at a cogeneration plant in Goianésia, Brazil. The modernization of the plant is carried out within the framework of the Finem Fundo Clima program. The project will increase the production of biogas through the use of stillage, which is a product of the fermentation of alcohol from sugar cane. The project is expected to increase energy exports at the Goianesia plant by 22 GWh, with total production expected to reach 200 GWh without increasing installed capacity. Project work also includes earthworks, excavation of stillage tanks, construction of the building, street leveling and plant foundations.
