The HNBi project will create a digital tool for predicting head/neck lesions based on the existing adult head-neck finite element model (FEM) and considerably extend its scope of application. Testing methods will be proposed and introduced in consumer tests, thereby helping to develop new safety standards. Incorporating new solutions and producing prototypes of digital and physical products will result in the development of motorcycle/bicycle/riding helmet designs and applications for combat helmets.
